What a nice weekend - we had only 5 nets open from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon but the catch was remarkable: alltogether 279 birds. Blue tits (Cyanistes caeruleus; 111), great tit (Parus major; 67), chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita; 64). Probably today it was the daily record of blue tits (105) and together with 64 great tits it was quite a job to extract them from mist nets.
